Hiyoooo - I have another update for my Finish 2017. It's super late, but it's here. haha
I have replaced a couple items so far. Also I had planned to throw up another update already, so there's already another mark before these ones.
First off, YAY I finished this nail polish! I still had a little left on the bottom, we all know how hard it is to get everything out of these mini bottles! So awesome! 1 out of 17 done!
Not too much progress on my Mac Prep & Prime Lip and on the Tarte Univeral Lip Liner. I'm trying to use it up! Lypsyl is slow but I do use it a lot! Then, to add another product in after the polish, I added the Jordana Continuous Almond Eye Pencil. I love this thing. I think this is my 2nd one? Not the last for sure.
Still chugging along on my Mac x Kelly Osbourne Blush in Cheeky Bugger. I've got a decent dip going! Just waiting to hit pan! Not a ton of progress on the Sexy Mama Powder by the Balm, but some! Almost done with my Maybelline Better Skin Powder! [ps I re-pressed it]
Another view of the blush. Tried to get the dip!
Another replacement product is this Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid in Pink. [again, notice the two marks.... planned to do another update that never went up.] I'm replacing the perfume oil with this. Was just not getting used....at all. Pretty confident I can use this up soon. Again, Lovecraft by KVD is hard to tell progress on, but I use it almost daily! The FCS Cuticle Oil is going well.... kinda. haha hard to get progress marks on! Also I did have progress on the Neutral Set powder but none lately.
Also chuggin along on the Hempz lotion.... I will finish it this year! I'm so bad with using up lotion.
More progress on the KVD Primer and Foundation!
and YAY PAN ON ABH DIPBROW YAS. I've never gotten this far on a DipBrow! Getting a bit tired of this Colourpop Liner, but I do try to use it as often as I can!!!!
And finally, another replacement. This is replacing the Erno Lanzlo Cleansing Oil because I cannot find it. At all. Anywhere.
This is a Temptu liquid highlighter I got in either an Ipsy or Birch Box. I like it but I never reach for it. But I have been loving it lately.
Anywho, that's it! I'll probably not put up another update until the end of June/early July.

March - April Empties '17
Hello! Finally finding some time to sit down and crank out some blog posts. Sorry!
These include some travel empties from my Vegas trip mid March and into April.
Here is my trashy trash -
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion - This was nice. I mostly used this in the mornings when I would head to the pool.
Dr Brandt Needles No More 3D Filler Mask - This is okay. I have had samples of this in the past.
MAC Cleanse Off Oil - I love this stuff. So many samples! I should probably buy the full size sometime. The bottle was unopened and traveled well to Vegas.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat in shade 2 [I think] - I used to love this stuff. I just used it to get it out. Not my favorite anymore but I do like getting the samples of it still.
Urban Decay Brow Tamer in Clear - My favorite brow gel!
Jack Black Lip Balm in Shea Butter spf 25 - I've had this sample for a while now but you really don't need a ton of this to be effective. Nearly finished in Vegas because I like the spf factor. Smelled great! Would buy a full size.
Beauty Blender Pro Sponge - I should have turned it around but this one was breaking off little pieces non stop. I think this one was an older one I had. It seemed to go super fast [for how long I can keep mine]. I'll be keeping this for more editorial looks or Halloween. The pro sponge is my favorite. I CAN TELL A DIFFERENCE.
Neutrogena Make Up Remover Wipes - a travel staple.
Karuna Hydrating Face Mask - I got these in a 4 pack I believe in my Fab Fit Fun box. These are super nice.
Dior Hydra Life Micellar Water - A nice sized sample that lasted me a few days. Not my favorite though because it felt like it left a film on my face. Usually I'm naughty and just use my Bioderma and go to bed. This I had to remove and then felt obligated to continue with my skincare.
Shiseido Facial Cottons - I'm addicted. Can't stop won't stop.
Wet Ones Extra Gentle Wipes - I like having these to clean my fingers when doing makeup and cleaning my vanity area.
Studio 35 Beauty Dual Tip Applicators - These are nice and firm. Repurchased in different packaging and keeping this box on my vanity to refill.
VitaFusion Extra Strength Biotin Gummies - These are SO good. Taste so yummy [I have to yell @ my husband to only have 2] and I found these on Amazon. I bought them after I regretfully cut 6 inches off of my hair. Judging by my crazy roots, they are working really well.
OPI Teenage Dream Nail Polish - Ugh, my favorite polish ever is gone. Not even gone, just smells toxic. Funny that I HATE pink normally but this was just such a beauty to wear. I do have a few polishes that are almost dupes, so that's okay. Goodbye my sweet prince.
Kat Von D x Formula X polish in Homegirl - Spoiler alert from my Finish 17 in '17.
Formula X Shine Top Coat - Not completely used up, but just too goopy to use.
Rohto Cool Eye Drops - I love these. I try to not use them all the time, but they are nice when you get eyeshadow or other gunk in your eyes and you need to reduce redness. These are what I use when my eyes are so red for photos.
L'Oreal Ever Pure Volume Shampoo - Nice, would repurchase.
MorrocanOil Restorative Hair Mask - I liked this mask! It was spendy but it smelled amazing and worked really well.
Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner - We love Aveda in this house and we love Rosemary Mint dearly. I don't use it much because I find it a tad stripping for me, but my husband LOVES it. So these samples are mostly a husband empty. We have the full sizes.
OverTone Extreme Purple Conditioner - I love this stuff, but it stains. I like ordering a travel size for ......traveling. I mixed some deep conditioner in with it for vacations.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry - I really loved this! I usually don't get into the different scents, but this was awesome.
Schmidt's Natural Deodorant in Spruce & Spice - I tried this brand after my pits were getting irritated from La Vanila deodorants. This smelled awesome and seemed to work great. I do notice I still get a tad irritated if I use this strictly everyday. If I use it on days I know I'll need it, it works wonderful.
Lush Beautiful Shower Gel - This was a random guy floating around my cabinet that I needed to just use up. Smelled great, I believe this is a permanent scent?
Fortune Cookie Soap Master Exfoliating Body Wash - This stuff smelled SO yummy! It's from the FCS Halloween box which was inspired by Hocus Pocus. It wasn't as exfoliating as I'd like but it was nice to use. It went really fast for me though.
St. Tropez Prep & Maintain Tan Enhancing Body Polish - I bought a kit from St. Tropez to self tan the slightest bit for Vegas. This was the first thing to go as I just love body scrubs. It was nice, a little too fragranced but still nice.
Witch Baby Soap Hex Breaker Body Scrub - Just yummy. Forever in love with Witch Baby Soap. Their body scrubs are SO GOOD.
Candles by Victoria Spiced Pear - Am I a real blogger now that I've purchased & burned a candle by Candles by Victoria/!??!?! I gave into the hype and after 1 done I'm in love. I want to try ALL of the scents! I bought a pack of 6? or so where you pick the scent. Naturally I bought many fall scents and this one was still fall like but fruity too. So good.
Bath & Body Works Georgia Peach 3 Wick Candle - SO MUCH YUM. I almost kept the jar because I love the color, but I need to stop hoarding "projects".
B&BW Wallflowers in Harvest Gathering & Holly Berry Balsam - Both very good.
B&BW Hand Soap in Vampire Blood & Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin - Good & will forever repurchase the Halloween scents!

Finish 17 in '17
Trying another new project this year.
I'm trying to use up at least 17 products this year.
Some of them are super gimmes but others are already proving to be a little tough.
I did take these photos in the beginning of the year, so I'm just a little late posting them. But hopefully I can get updates up in a timely manner. I'm thinking monthly updates.
Also, I'm going to work harder on getting better photos now that my lights are out of storage.
So, let's start.
First we have my Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Powder in Porcelain. I received this for free from Influenstser sometime last year. It's pretty dark on me for the winter, but I like using it mostly on my neck and chest to darken it up a bit to match my face. Then there's the Cheeky Bugger Blush from MAC x Kelly Osbourne. I LOVE this blush. I don't think I'll be able to use it up completely by the end of the year, but I just wanna see how much I can use in a year. I use it nearly everyday since the year started and it's so pretty. Also probably not a use up, but I wanna try, is Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovecraft. This is my favorite shade from KVD ever. I have it in the bullet form as well. It's just perfect. This full size isn't for sale on its own yet, but I caved and bought the giant clutch of lippies she had on sale.
Next is this mini Kat Von D x Formula X Nail Polish in Homegirl. I hope you can see the mark on the bottle. I should have thought ahead of time to paint my nails with it before I took the photo, but whatever. It's basically a dupe for OPI Lincoln Park After Dark.
More Kat Von D! I want to try to use up this Lock It Featherweight Primer. It's nice and light and mixes well with other primers. Again, sorry if it's hard to see the mark. And I want to use up this Lock It Tattoo Foundation in Light 44. It's even a bit dark and yellow on me, but I think it works. I just want to use this up before I buy a new bottle.
Pretty much starting fresh and new with these Fortune Cookie Soap products. The one on the left is the One C Cuticle Oil. A little goes a long long way with this so this will be a tough one. Also the Polyjuice Potion Perfume Oil. Best scent from FCS.
Next I want to see how far I can get in my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe. This gives a nice base color to my brows and I top it off with powder depending on how dark my hair is. Next is this Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in No Shame. It's a gorgeous deep purple and I want to use it more! It's hard to see but I've used it a ton. I like to add Inglot's Duraline to it to make it nice and smooth. Then there is the Sexy Mama Anti-Shine Translucent Powder by The Balm. I've had this powder for a long while so I just want to get rid of it. It is nice and does a nice job of controlling my oil, but I do find it can darken up where I apply it heavily so I lightly dust it on my face.
Another easy one is this Erno Laszlo Cleansing Oil. I also got this from Influenster for free for testing. I've already used up the bar soap that goes along with this, but I've been lazy with really making sure my makeup is off at night. This is a nice oil that removes nearly everything. Then there's this beast. The Ben Nye Neutral Set Colorless Powder. I've made a good dent on this since I've been using it to bake. I don't hate this and I do like it but I just wanna get it out this year. I know, I'm ballsy for trying to use up 3 powders.
I want to use up this Hempz White Peppermint and Vanilla Body Lotion. It's so nice and light that I keep it in my living room mostly for my hands. IT SMELLS SO GOOD. I want to eat it.
Alright so these photos suck but here we go. I want to use up this MAC Prep & Prime Lip Base. I find this doesn't work well under ALL lip products, but most. Also I've had this Tarte Amazonian Clay Universal Lip Liner. It's pretty but not my favorite. If I wear it on it's own I don't like how it makes my lips look. And finally I'm working toward using up my Lypsyl Lip Balm. I love this stuff!
So here are swatches of some of the products. Top is natural light, bottom is flash.
L-R is KVD Foundation, Maybelline Powder, The Balm Powder, MAC Blush, KVD Lovecraft Liquid Lip, Tarte Lip Liner, ABH Dipbrow & Colourpop Gel Liner.

December 2016 Empties!
Once again, empties are super late as ever, but oh well.
Also, again, apologies for the crap photos, but hey, they are photos of my trash so why do we care so much?
Here is what was used up in December!
This Honeycrisp Apple Candle from B&BW smelled amazing, as did the Vampire Blood Pocket Bac Hand Sanitizer, AND the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Wallflower that was in my guest bathroom. Also this free sample of the Crest 3D White Whitestrips was awesome. I would totally buy these monthly 1 hour ones over the daily ones. I do have sensitive teeth, so that's why I don't like the 14 day ones or whatever they come in now. But this one was SUPER sticky and actually stuck to my teeth, not just move around and taste all nasty. I mean, it still tasted nasty but it STUCK. AND made a noticeable difference.
I don't always looooove Lush Body Conditioners, but I loved that they came out with the Snow Fairy scent in this formula for the holidays. This was a tad thicker & richer in my opinion than the usual ones, so I mostly used this on my legs because they get the most dry in the winter. I liked it, probably wouldn't repurchase in this formula again. I still buy the body wash every year though. And I went through another Burberry Brit Sheer perfume. It's my favorite. Apart from the bottle being pink, they recently redid the bottle and it looks so fancy. Also, my mom uses this so I usually buy 2 bottles when I repurchase. I know, spendy, but we both love this perfume SO MUCH. So of course, it'll probably get discontinued soon; that always happens to scents we love.
Speaking of scents I love.... This Hempz Body Lotion in White Peppermint & Vanilla IS SO FUCKING GOOD. This is also so fucking old, as in like 2 years. But it's so good. I think they released it or a similar scent this past holiday season. So I may pick it up. But I do have a giant bottle of this stuff still. This is one of the only Hempz scents I can stand though, a lot of them, especially the good LE ones end up giving me a headache. Which sucks because I love the formula of their lotion. It sinks in so fast.
As usual, I used up some Dr. Teal's Epsom Salt Soak. This Lavender one is my favorite. I used a bottle of Sage, Cedar & Sweetgrass Body Wash from Growing Blue Flowers. I don't see her selling this on her website but the smell was great and she sells other products in this scent. I liked thinking of it as a mini-smudge in the shower. Without all the smoke ;]
3 bath bombs from my current favorite, Witch Baby Soap. The Dead By Dawn one was awesome, coffin shaped and smelled amazing. Wolf Moon is by far one of their best scents ever and it was full of glitter! Winter Moon was awesome as well and was from the Winter Spell Box.
This Lemon Sage Thickening Shampoo from Paul Mitchell was mostly a husband empty, but damn these smell good. Another L'Oreal Ever Pure Repair & Defend Conditioner bites the dust. I'm really loving experimenting with the different formulas in this line of hair care!
I used up more of my favorite Shiseido Facial Cottons and the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water. I have repurchased both, but I am keeping and reusing the Bioderma bottle, because the dispenser is the best. I used a 3 pack of Sephora Razors & Clinique's Acne Solutions Clearing Gel. I love that stuff, as it's less harsh than benzoyl peroxide, which I am extremely sensitive to.
Yay! Makeup empties!
I FINALLY used up this small but mighty tub of By Terry Balm de Rose Lip Balm. It was nice, but I would never buy a full size. I really enjoyed the Benefit They're Real Tinted Lash Primer! I could see myself buying a full size in the future. Another Urban Decay Brow Tamer in Clear, my #1 Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper [fancy LE packaging], this amazing Anastasia Beverly Hills Gel Eyeliner in Darkside [SO GOOD. Would repurchase], MAC's Pro Longwear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation in NW20 [another soon to be repurchase] and finally the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. I'm so excited to try out their new versions of setting sprays! Not sure if they're reformulated or just repackaged, though...
What have you used up lately??

EOTD - My Pretty Zombie 'The Vapors' & 'Old Bruise'
Hey guys! Do you ever just get the feeling to use weird colors or go grab a few neglected singles [or unopened!] to use for the day? I had that feeling.
I decided to pick out a couple of My Pretty Zombie eyeshadows I haven't used yet and thought that the matte yellow Old Bruise and beautiful burgundy/red/blue shifting The Vapors would be a fun challenge. Initially, I wanted to use a lot more of Old Bruise but I shied away and stuck to what I was comfortable with. I do like this combination of colors though! I will definitely use them together again.
I also wanted to use my Tarte Tarteist Clay Liner in Navy instead of black. I think this made the look really cool as well. It's almost like using primary colors.
Also I had to throw my cute little Paw Palette in the photo too! I've been LOVING this tiny size with a ring on the back. I stick it on my thumb while I use my brow pomade and gel liner and it's so easy then to hold a mirror up as well. Great tiny work space. I do have a normal [like, original] palette with the wrist band for larger amounts of product but I just don't use it that much so it's in my Halloween/costume kit.
So yes, Coffin Mini Palette, KVD [don't judge me on how old this liner is, still works great] Autograph Liner in Fool's Gold, MPZ Old Bruise & The Vapors, Tarteist Navy Liner, KVD Thunderstruck [my baby].
Ugh, how pretty!
Flash.
I took this mostly so you can see the shift in The Vapors. Natural light.

No. 100 - Kat Von D Serpentina Palette Look
Cheers to 100 posts and to a new post in general!
Again - I suck at uploading.
I went on a no buy but my exceptions are always Kat Von D products [cheating, I know, but I need her products] so I squealed when I saw this palette on Instagram.
I ordered it and am still a little iffy on it but so far two shades have been used more than the others. Queen and Hieroglyph are gorgeous as hell and so this look is showcasing them. Mostly Hieroglyph but I chucked Queen on the outer corner for some dimension. Also used Thunderstruck in the inner corner and on my brow bone, which I use almost everyday.
This is a pretty KVD heavy face as well. I used my favorites also so the product list is this:
The Serpentina Palette
Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow
Shade & Light Blush in Piaf & Poe [I know these got pulled but I LOVE MINE]
Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Thunderstruck [mine is shattered, still works amazingly well]
Tattoo Liner in Trooper [my LE packaging one is still going strong]
Lightning Liner in Ludwig
