1. shopped my makeup stash to cycle in makeup I haven't used in a while... which lead to
2. revamped a look I wore almost everyday in high school.
And tonight, I realized that I will never be taking these sort of photos on my point and shoot again!
Anywho... in highschool, I went eyeshadow crazy every day. Not an overstatement.
I would pile on the black eyeliner, not that different from my everyday still....
then I would put a purple, gold or brown shadow on and if it looked off, I would put a green/blue/gold looking shadow over it to 'fix' it. It's hard to explain but it worked!
I hope that some of you can relate to me on this when I say I have a few shadows in my stash that seem to just look great over anything and can fix a mistake.
ANYWAYS.. I pulled out an oldie I haven't used in a while.. Urban Decay eyeshadow in Shattered.
And this is what I came up with:
[sorry for the horrid quality... and brows in the process of growing out]
Anastasia Brow Powder in Medium Ash
Covergirl Liquiline Blast in Black [upper waterline]
Kat Von D's Autograph Pencil in Homie [lower waterline/lashline]
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hr Eyeshadow in Seashore Frosts [all over lid]
Makeup Geek Pigment in Afterglow [inner corner, inner third of lid, brow bone]
Victorian Disco Cosmetics Eyeshadow in I'm 100 Years Older Than You, But It's Okay! [outer corner/crease]
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Shattered [center of lid]
Buxom Lashliner in Leatherette [top liner]
Lancome Cils Booster XL [mascara primer, sample from Sephora]
Benefit BadGal Lash in Black [came in a mini sort of sample kit from Sephora]
All in all.. really this looked way way prettier in person, but it was a grown up approach to an old look.
